National Christian Conference in Birmingham for Pastors & Wives (including men training for the ministry & wives) – Christian Workers & Wives – Church Officers & Wives

A Conference emphasising the Word of God and Heart Religion

Quotation: Thomas Charles writing in 1791

“Within these fifty years there have been five or six very great awakenings ………. I am persuaded, that unless we are favoured with frequent revivals, and a strong, powerful work of the Spirit of God, we shall, in a great degree, degenerate, and have only a ‘name to live:’ religion will soon lose its vigour; the ministry will hardly retain its lustre and glory; and iniquity will, of consequence, abound.”

Birmingham Conference Aims

To unite rather than to divide. To strengthen one another in the great doctrines of the faith. To encourage one another in heartfelt, experiential Christian devotion.  To challenge one another to vigorous evangelism, including persuasive preaching, Sunday School, personal witness etc. To help one another to stand against the secularism of the age and worldly compromise in the churches.
